The development on top of the Wien Mitte station complex with an 85,000m2 multifunctional ensemble of buildings currently represents the largest inner city development in Vienna. During the course of the project the junction for local traffic is being revitalised and a new urban centre is being erected that is to dominate the surrounding cityscape. The complete ’Wien-Mitte’ project planned by the architects Lintl & Lintl, Neumann & Steiner and Ortner & Ortner working in collaboration is to be presented in an exhibition at the Az W.
