City tourism is booming and as a consequence internet-based short-term holiday lets are also on the rise. How is this impacting the housing market and so affecting all of the inhabitants of these cities? What are the problems that local residents struggle with? The Arbeiterkammer (Austrian chamber of commerce) is working intensely on strategies for sustainable and future-proof urban development, such as basic studies on housing construction and the massive rise in rents.
