Drawing on Fattinger’s many years of experience with temporary interventions and design-build projects, the discussion focuses on the adaptability and potential of the provisional. These structures could make important contributions, particularly in light of the challenges posed by climate change. After all, seemingly insignificant structures such as scaffolding, dust-proof tarps, and wayfinding systems are already keeping our cities running today.
