New Spirits In Old Architecture

Sun 12.05.2002, 13:45-18:00

The 1st Viennese Consumer Society bread factory: An early reinforced concrete building by Hubert and Franz Gessner (1908-1910) is the arena for the transformation of the structural specifications to the old factory complex as part of an unusual spatial agenda. H&V’s architectural intervention provides a framework for adaptation while leaving the possibility of occasionally taking it even further.

New spirits in old architecture: The team junger_beer is taking the volley and organising interactive simulators for a flexible office structure over three levels for Sysis. The industrial charm can be experienced once more as a reminiscence through the use of complementary materials.
Comfortable lobbies offer ‘new spirits’ a suitable environment for the presentation of the team and its projects.
