First comes work, then play. The “via regia” of delicacies for all senses leads south of Neusiedlersee straight into Blaufränkisch territory. The archaic tradition of wine pressing and the dusky twilight of mysterious vaulted cellars are history. Modern cellar technology has been inscribed into the historical matrix of the Burgenland “Streckhof” (traditional farm house + yard), in a multitude of variations. A fruity fullness on the palate.
