Exhibition in the Kaiserliches Hofmobiliendepot (The Imperial Furniture Collection): Ludwig van der Mies – Furniture and Buildings in Stuttgart, Barcelona and Brno

From 9/11/02 to 12/15/02, The Imperial Furniture Collection presents the extensive Ludwig Mies van der Rohe special exhibition, along with his most important European buildings and furniture designs: The Weißenhof development area in Stuttgart, the German pavillion for the World Exhibition in Barcelona and the Villa Tugendhat in Brno. The exhibition, by the Vitra Museum of Design, is enhanced in Vienna by the presentation of furniture and photo documents from the Tugendhat Villa, both of which are privately owned and some of which are on display for the first time.
