The focus at Studio Kollision is on reuse and an awareness of materials. In the form of ‘gwand circle’, village interventions, discussions of materials or the reuse of building components at Nordwestbahnhof, in collaboration with Hochbau1 at the Vienna University of Technology. They regard the ongoing paradigm shift as giving rise to a new tectonic language — as is also reflected in Anupama Kundoo’s experimental use of materials.
