Mush­rooms and Clay as Buil­ding Materials

Have you ever wondered what mushrooms are capable of? In this workshop, we’ll explore the fascinating world of mushrooms. We’ll explore how their mycelium can be used to create eco-friendly materials—such as insulation or leather—that can even be composted later. Flavia Matei from BASEhabitat will lead the workshop; she has been researching recyclable building materials for a long time. Since mushrooms must be handled with great care, we’ll primarily work with clay during the workshop.
