Which materials make sense where? The exhibition “Think Global, Build Social!“ shows an alternative, socially committed kind of architecture. The projects shown aim at improving living conditions, for instance in Africa, and work with local building materials. Earth, wood, brick and concrete are used, as well as rarer materials. After our tour of the exhibition we will experiment with earth, clay or concrete, examine their qualities, and then build something ourselves.
