Owing to the Russian incursion, the 2023 Kyiv Biennial was hosted in Vienna. In this context, the IG Architektur launched the Ping‐Pong Dialogue Kharkiv‐Vienna project — a digital exchange between architecture producers in the two cities on issues relating to urban development and urban life. The evening’s event provides insight into the professional correspondence between these two cities.

Simultaneous events held at the Az W and at the Kharkiv Media Hub, over 1500 km apart, host reports on the experiences of civil society, concerns related to architecture in a context of current political events, and what is envisaged for the future. The focus at this evening’s event is on urban development in particular, as well as green and open spaces along with social and socio-political projects in the two cities.

Impulses from, inter alia:
Olha Kleitman, SBM Studio, Kharkiv
