For the eight edition of the international Open Air Architecture Film Festival in the courtyard of the Architekturzentrum Wien we are searching for documentaries, short films, experimental films and animations on the theme built justice.

The Architektur.Film.Sommer 2020 is dedicated, among other questions, to the issues:
Who plans, builds and finances for whom and to what end? Are all users allocated sufficient (public) space? Where do the visible and invisible boundaries lie, and how can urban or rural spaces be designed inclusively? What infrastructure does a justly built world need, and how much value is placed on the environment and climate suitability in this infrastructure? In short: What can built justice look like?

We invite filmmakers to submit documentaries, short films and animations on the topic, to show examples for the future of functioning projects as well as critical takes on historical and current developments. The aim of the festival is to provoke a broadly based discussion.

A cooperation by the Az W with wonderland — platform for european architecture and the MuseumsQuartier Wien.
