The focus this evening is, above all, on all those who teach in school architecture on an everyday basis: Is the spatial agenda prescribed by the ministry of education really geared to the teaching methods of the future? Are the buildings for contemporary teaching concepts that are so highly praised by architecture critics really suitable? Or should new paths be taken in collaboration with the education authorities, architects and those building schools, like BIG? An interdisciplinary exchange of theory and practise between all of the parties involved.

Ingeborg Schneider, director of the AHS Heustadelgasse
