A four-day bus trip brings us to highlights of socialist holiday architecture of the 1960s and 1970s on Croatia’s northern Adriatic coast. With Michael Zinganel as guide a wide range of remarkable buildings, from simple bungalow complexes to brutalist exposed concrete structures, will be presented in their historic and political context. These projects, some of them highly exciting, are today in very different states of repair, depending on the commitment of their new owners: they can range from decaying ruins of late modernism to melancholic monuments or new 5-star design hotels.

The excursion will be guided in German
