The series Ready for Occupancy looks, in 2016, at Seestadt Aspern. A site-seeing tour of three exemplary housing projects accompanies the event with the same title.
Multifaceted architectural concepts are built reality today. The residents are now the active participants in a new neighbourhood. Do terms like “housing initiative”, “Smart Homes” or “developer’s competition” still mean anything in this new phase of development? The architects and the residents provide us with an overview of the current situation.
