With vertical agriculture, fruit, vegetables and edible mushrooms can be produced all year round in large buildings, on several stacked levels. Daniel Podmirseg, co-founder of the vertical farm institute, shows and explains to us how this works and why we need it. These farms already exist in Japan, the USA and the Netherlands.
