Once again, the Austrian loam construction conference brings together national and international experts, practitioners and interested parties with the aim of bringing loam as a raw material out of its niche existence.

When we talk about sustainable building, loam is unbeatable as a raw material. The fact that earthen building materials produce hardly any CO2, are fully recyclable and provide a healthy indoor climate is now common knowledge. Now it is a matter of bringing the broad application of loam as a sustainable raw material to public and urban building sites. At the 2. Österreichische Lehmbautagung (2nd Austrian loam construction conference), local and international experts, architects, building specialists and craftsmen discuss topics such as training, regulations, quality assurance, research and development, as well as presenting examples of buildings in order to set new standards for loam construction in Austria.
