Clay has long been one of humankind’s most important building materials. People built with clay 9000 years ago. What are the constituents of clay and, is it actually weatherproof? What is the difference between clay and brick? In recent time architects have begun to use clay more frequently, as they appreciate its ability to help regulate the indoor climate. Together we will research the possibilities offered by this exciting material and then test them by building a model.
