The two main exhibitions in the “Italian pavilion” and in the “Corderie dell’Arsenale” form an interesting juxtaposition to the theme of “Metamorphoses.” Under the title “Gegen den Strom” (against the current), Marta Schreieck, this year’s curator for Austrian contributions, presents the architectural firms AllesWirdGut, pool Architektur, querkraft architekten, the next ENTERprise-architects and the supermarket chain MPREIS of the Tyrolean company Mölk.
